Cynthia saw the dogs approaching long before anyone else did. All the way down the beach, she had caught their scent, just as they had snatched a whiff of her's. They bolted immediately, straining against their tethers, desperate to do something about the evil that stood so openly on the beach. They were descendants of the Werewolf, after all. It was in their blood.
And she could suck them dry of it.
The human who owned the bitches seemed far more concerned with the dying blonde than the dogs, and at the first sign of freedom, they were upon the two vampires faster than the blink of an eye. Growling, snarling, drooling...they were truly disgusting creatures. Asmaa asked for suggestions on the matter, and Cynthia smirked.
"None whatsoever," She replied as she kicked one of the red-headed brutes in the ribs, reveling in its yelp and the way it stayed where it fell. Not dead, but definitely unconscious. The other dog became even more vicious with its barking, but it backed off a step or two. It knew the danger now. 'Good.' Cynthia was not afraid of such simple beasts.
Nor was she afraid of just two humans. But she could see the attention drawing to them by the second, and while Cynthia didn't fear humans in the least, she did fear exposure. There were many things that set Cynthia apart from other vampires, but it was in this aspect that she was similar. She didn't want the attention. She was made to lurk the shadows.
"Let's get out of here," She suggested to Asmaa, nodding her head sideways. "Before this gets embarrassing."
