Evelyn used to be a girl living out her life. Friends, family, school, work, hopes, dreams, and love. Before the present moment however we find ourselves across the ocean within the small realm of Romania. It was here where Evelyn Nicolae took her first breath and shed her very first tear. It was also here where she grew up surrounded by endless love. Sheltered from a young age against the harshness of the world, Evelyn was offered a beautiful childhood, and was lucky to be a child shrouded in happiness. After the Nicolae family immigrated to Canada, shortly after their daughter's tenth birthday, little Evelyn experienced a simplistic event at her new school which would undoubtedly shape her life forever.Flaws/Personality traits:
At the age of twelve Evelyn received a pen pal through her school system. He was a boy her age from British Columbia, Canada, by name of James. The young ones began exchanging letters and it wasn't very long before they took great liking towards each other. The letter business in itself was not lengthy. Soon enough they moved on to the one thing able to keep up with the mind's speed - the internet. The two youth kept in touch quite often. They were passing through their teenage years and just as their predecessors discovered, it wasn't a walk through the park. Adolescence proved to have endless supplies of obstacles in store which, if anything, brought them only closer. Long would be the hours where they would take turns complaining and sharing their ordeals. The other would be on the other end to comfort and soothe. They became each other's confidante. Evelyn was able to tell James anything, and he in turn would do the same. Sooner or later the two began changing the way they felt about one another. They were slowly falling in love.
Evelyn told some of her friends about it, but they laughed. They criticized her. How could she 'love' him? If they never met it couldn't possibly work out and on the side, there were many stories of online predators. Evelyn brushed them off eventually. In the end it wouldn't matter what people would say. Sure, she had many doubts considering this growing feeling inside her concerning James, yet at the same time it was ... real. This weird feeling, tangible yet absent, towards one whom she had never physically met before. They had messaged online, spoken through the phone, exchanged pictures and webcam moments. She knew he was out there, under the same sky, and it was all it mattered. Evelyn fell in love with James. It was possibly one of the most real loves you could fall in since it wasn't simply from physically acknowledging him, yet from purely emerging herself into the reality of who he was. Evelyn fell in love with his personality and he with hers.
The two kept talking until finally one year they decided they were going to meet each other. One summer Evelyn flew to B.C. with some friends where our two lovers were finally united. James was everything Evelyn imagined him to be and more. They fell in deepest of loves and James even asked our heroine to marry him. She was the happiest girl in the world until one dark night came along, arriving swiftly to divide them forever. One thing Evelyn never knew was that B.C. was the home of a big mafiosi group. One by the name of 'THE SYNDICATE.' Her precious James had been blackmailed some time before into their group and remained prisoner to this day. It was the one thing he had hoped Evelyn would never find out.
While in B.C., Evie ran into someone she knew from her past. The woman named Sorina was enchanted to encounter Evelyn once more, many years after she had tutored the young girl in the English language. It was a happy reunion followed by a lenghty lunch, accompanied by much catching up. Her former tutor seemed to focus on thanking Evie for saving her life long ago. Sorina had already thanked her before, it seemed out of place for her to go in such detail over the event again, holding Evelyn's hands in her own cold ones - hands too cold for summer. It was wonderful to reunite with Sorina nevertheless, Evelyn thought, though on the other hand something seemed very different about her. The former tutor no longer had her green-blue eyes ... her voice was thoroughly angelic ... everything about her was simply breathtaking. Evelyn often found herself entering a daze during the short hours spent with Sorina. She wasn't able to put her finger on it but there was something about Sorina, and her gold new eyes, that drew Evelyn in. It called out to her in a hypnotic, unspoken voice.
One night Evie was at the wrong place and time. She witnessed a murder at the hands of "THE SYNDICATE". Luckily enough she managed to escape, but not before they were able to identify her with the white camelia tattoo on her back. "THE SYNDICATE" asked James to remove Evelyn from the equation - an impossible task. They began the run of their lives only to unfortunately be caught in the long run. When this happened Evelyn jumped in the way of a bullet meant for James.
The young woman was undeniably losing her life. It is here where fate comes into it's strange play. Sorina was passing through the vicinity during this dark hour. Unknown to our heroine, though known to us, Sorina was clearly a vampire. It was inconvenient to lend a helping hand at the present time, since Sorina and her mate were fleeing those lands. For she happened to commit an unspeakable event. Unheard of inside their supernatural world, Sorina had fallen in love with a shapeshifting wolf. Defying all laws of their natures they turned their back on all substantial beliefs of their kind. His pack sentenced them into exile. She owed Evelyn her life, however, a debt to be repaid. If it wasn't for the little girl so many years ago, Sorina would never have had her second chance of death. A death which led into life. It was her turn now to save Evelyn. Sorina and her mate saved our heroes mid-run; if her plan succeeded, Evie could have fun with "THE SYNDICATE" later. Time was of the essence as the girl was already half dead in Sorina's arms. Her mate carried Evie's unconscious lover. Once they were a fair distance away Sorina decided to try the last thing capable of saving Evelyn. Sorina had never created an immortal before, and in due honesty she was afraid. Afraid she would lose control. Though the heavens took favor upon Evelyn that day, and Sorina overcame her most complicated trial. Her debt was repaid. The two saviours now separated. Sorina's mate would take James far away, while she would become Evelyn's teacher once again. The two young lovers would not be permitted to see each other until her mentor saw fit.
Waking up as a newborn Evelyn tore most of "THE SYNDICATE" apart. To this day she still tracks down memebers, to eliminate the threat to James, who in her judgement must remain human at all costs. One by one the members of "THE SYNDICATE" fell, and as closer Evelyn gets to finishing her mission, her torment of wishing to be human again only grows. Under Sorina's wing, Evelyn has learned much about the history of her new life and the rules dominating them. She goes around calling herself the "White Camelia." Fitting for she is born of a white camelia, what she considers her mother to be, who aptly is named Camelia. Her mother's favourtite camelia flowers were white. In memory Evelyn got a tattoo of a white camelia on her back (what 'THE SYNDICATE' were first able to identify her with...). She roams around the world tracking the mafiosi members who have scattered. She has grown quite lonely. She would have a friend in God, who she loves. However as of late she has distanced herself from Him ashamed of what she has become.
One of Evelyn's worst flaws is the fact that she trusts people too easily. Countless times this comes back to bite her in the ass. She had many experiences where people take advantage of her just to get what they want yet are never there in return when she needs them.Physical description: Aspirations: Where Did You Find Us?: Google Search
She used to be bullied in her early school years and never accepted by other students, never really fitting in very well until her final years of high school when she changed as a person. In Romania the Nicolae family lived in a bad neighbourhood where their daughter was not allowed to go outside and play with other kids, therefore keeping her to a sheltered life. It wasn't until much later Evelyn discovered how the real world worked. Our heroine had always discovered things later than everyone else and also done certain things too. As a child she was late to talk, change her baby teeth, understand math, etc. She was late in life too. Late getting up, getting ready, preparing anything. If anything Evie always liked to do things in her own time and way, hating it when people would question or rush her for the time or methods she would take.
Being sheltered didn't leave her with much knowledge of the world. Eventually step by step the girl started experiencing the good and bad things of the world. She found out that people weren't actually as friendly as she thought they would be; children didn't lead happy lives all over the world; not all families were whole; some people barely could afford shelter, food, clothing, etc. The simplicity of a child's life was fleeting, and life seemed to lose a lot of the magic it once held. Raw concepts and vigorous revelations were rooting within Evelyn. As a young woman she really began to think a lot, even more so than when she was a child, and a much thinking child at that too. Thoughts on anything and everything. Evie would think things over very much from an incredible amount of persepectives. She found herself to always be on a different page than the rest of society, the biggest reason for that was because she thought about things on a level that people around her didn't. She thought about things people would never think about. The average person would think mostly about how their current day is going, what they would do later on, how they are feeling, etc. Evie on the other hand would be going somewhere and she would see a bird flying across her path. She would begin to think about the bird and how it's life might be. How it must be to live a bird's life and the different things a bird would do every day. How you would have to constantly look for food instead of just running to the fridge, how awful it would be in the cold to suffer through the long months. Not only would she imagine herself as a bird but she would imagine a multitude of them leading this daily life. This is a mere minor example and not the best of the sea of thoughts within the former human's mind.
Over-analyzing things always causes her headaches. More often that not she is incorrect about her assumptions about people. Since she was bullied in the past and never fit in she is used to the concept of wherever she goes she probably will be disliked. Unfortunately she is too sentimental for her own good. Even though she has been getting a lot stronger in the last few years her self esteem is still not as high as it should be, however it's a work in progress. Not to be misunderstood on the other hand that Evelyn is a very capable woman who is extremely confident in herself, and people see her as one who exerts her power with a leader's aura. Unfortunately it can be quite hard to look on the outside to truly determine what is going on inside her mind. Evelyn usually always adapts to her surroundings trying to match and mimic which makes her somewhat of a universal puzzle piece. The girl never had a certain way of living her life aside from floating from different places and through different groups of people. Evie can fit in any group. The nice skill possesed in her case is to match her life and ways to whatever is required of her, quite and very easily; yet there is one skill that perfects the off-balance of her emotional extremeism, and that is the capability of turning off her emotions. Sometimes our heroine looks at herself as an oddity. Capable of thinking everyone's thoughts in her head (persepective-wise), none at all, and her own resolutions of what might or should be right, she sometimes wonders if she's an experiment gone wrong.
On a positive note our young woman is famous for having an enourmous heart. Friends of hers would testify she always thinks of herself last and puts them and family first. Having a general heroic attitude, Evelyn tries to do the right thing and put things to justice while giving the wrong side what it truly deserves. Famous for being rash and reckless in her actions though, our own Evie also makes many, many, mistakes; while trying to do the right thing naturally.
