Creating A Character:
To create a character, simply create a new thread in this area and follow the instructions. Once you have decided on a character, you need to change your screen name to your character's name by modifying your profile. If you fail to do this on your own, I will do it for you. It is very difficult to role play with someone of whom you have to guess what character they are.
When describing your character, be as descriptive as possible and try to leave nothing out, for you will not get the chance to edit your character's information once it is registered. If you are confused as to what you should put in the application, I will have registered my own character as an example. You may also skim over other registrations for more examples.
You will know that your character has been registered when myself or a staff member replies to it to notify you and locks the thread. Please give us about 24 hours before you start messaging us to ask when your character will be registered. Sometimes we get very busy and short-handed, and simply can't get to you right away--but we are not ignoring you!
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS: If you decide that you want more than one character, that is okay. You can have up to three! However, you MUST let the administration know in some way. If we find out through other means, you will be banned. I suggest you include it either in your application or private message. Or both!
A warning to all characters: If you register a Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu, do not expect your character to be accepted. You will be notified via Private Message, the application will be deleted, and you will have to start over. If you do not know what qualifies you for Mary-Sue, consult the RPG Guide to gain a better understanding. Remember, if you have to ask if your character is a sue, he/she probably is. Try to be as normal as possible while still being unique, please.
Also, canon characters are not allowed here. Nobody but Miss Meyer herself knows how to properly play her own characters; anyone who may be able to convince me otherwise are not always reliable to stay active. Might I suggest, instead, an original character with a canon last name? A relative of some sort? If you should want to register a canon relative, you must convince me that it is possible for your character to be related to the canon, or I will reject it.
A tip for all: Check on your registration OFTEN! If I have replied to your registration, but have not locked it, check and see what I have written. I may have asked you to change something about or add something to your character. I will give you the chance to make the changes and then I will come back and lock your thread if it is satisfactory. I never mean to nit-pick. I just want your character to be the best it can be, and someone who everyone will enjoy working with. Just bear with me.
I hope you have fun, and good luck with your character creation! Any questions may be messaged to me or sent to the FAQs.
